Learning project: post 2
It’s been a few weeks since I last made a post, This is mostly due to there not being all that much to talk about. Well I might be selling myself short, I did get in contact with a few of my friends about using their characters for the project. One of them even going so far as to say “Please, take my children” so I’m pretty sure I have everyone’s approval. I couldn’t find too many specific tutorials on Clip Studio Paint, most of it was things like speed paintings which are used to show ones creative process in a fast motion video format and how to get specific textures while painting (which I will probably use later). So in order to get a basic grasp on the program I decided to ask my friend who actually uses a program consistently. They’re are no teacher but they did their best and that’s all I ask for. And as of last week I’ve been doing consistent practice sketches to get a better feel of the program itself, none of it so far has been anything of major note worth posting. Mostly just scribbling and experimentation, I haven’t been able to really able to make anything more foundational as my other classes have been bogging me down a bit. But I feel like i’m just beating myself up over nothing, patience is a virtue as they say. The next time I post I will have started making way with pose sketches, wire frames that help me lay the foundation for how want the character to be posed within the final piece.
